My name is Heather and I am a fledgling photographer based out of Eastern Oregon. Photography is my passion, and I love snapping pictures of just about anyone who will sit still for me! I am currently building my customer base, which is a every interesting process!
My love and "career" in photography began when my parents bought me my first digital camera for my 16th birthday, and I was bit by the shutterbug. My love of photography led me to a job as a portrait manager for a chain photostudio, there I learned the basics of good portrait photography, but I also learned that I am more fond of candid natural portraits then I am of set formal poses. Something is lost in translation when someone is forsed to sit and smile, compared to when they are allowed to let their natural personality shine through. So I embarked out on my own and here I am.
I have shot many portraits; both formally and informally. I have done bouridor glamour shots, and I am constantly shooting chilren, as my poor baby will prove. He is my main practice canidate. I am also shooting my first wedding reception this coming spring.
